Covid coming close to home...

@AJK Did the doctor give her a time frame for results? I am really hoping she is fine. How old is your niece? I am thinking, it's really hard to quarantine yourself in the same house. My sister and nephew had to. My nephew had ALL the symptoms but he didn't get tested. My sister's doctor said to quarantine themselves specially my nephew away from her too. Doctor said no need for testing at this point since he is young and was not having major trouble breathing. They are trying to keep testing to people that are coming to the hospital with the most advanced symptoms.

@Dalis My sister said this morning it would be a week before results were in. The turnaround time is one of the struggles the medical community is dealing with. Sister has had heart attack, kidney issues, and smokes. Not a good combination for healthy immune system. She also had breast cancer two years ago. She said she thinks she will be ok. So we trust and wait. My niece is 38(?)and they share a small condo at the Beach, so most likely she is already exposed if my sister tests positive.

Hopefully is just something else going on with her.
 
Hoping that the result is negative...how scary!

This is very close to home for me. I am in NJ. I know multiple people and friends that are positive, and multiple friends and family who have had people pass away.

LOL, yes. Well, her work closed a week ago, and our state was just given a Stay at Home order from the Gov. with penalty of fines or 30 days in jail, so not too concerned since they are negative! yea!
