I'm a logic puzzle fan. You know, the ones where you have to figure out who did or didn't do something? My mom is a huge crossword puzzle fan. I don't think my vocabulary is big enough, so they frustrate me. My son loves puzzles like rubix cubes and those metal brain teasers.

What about you? Are you a brain teaser fan? Or a puzzle fan in general?

Danish crossword puzzles ,sometimes. The English ones floor me because of the way they write the clues. Or digital numbers ones. My hubby like the metal puzzles or the wood ones.

I'm not a crossword fan at all but like you Courtney i love figuring out who done it! LOL I love love love playing that board game Clue!

I do some Sudoku. While travelling ( my husband does most of the driving ) I do Word Finds or the clue-less crosswords. I also do those puzzles at my Friday volunteer work as the day is sometimes very quiet for people coming in to use the community computers etc.

Is it the language difference? Or that the English ones suck at english clues? :dizzy LOL! Okay, my opinion may be slipping in here a little bit... :hehe

I forgot about Sudoku! That's one I like too!
The clue-less crosswords - is that the ones where they give you the words and you make them fit in the grid?
Like this? I like these too. Less thinking about what word could fit!

I do enjoy logic types of puzzles and brain teasers! Not so much crosswords, word searches, sudoku, and things like that. I blame my 5th grade teacher who gave us crossword puzzles for homework like every night :giggle.

I’m not a fan, but my second daughter is. And she’s talented! She usually beats us at any strategy game. Of the games you listed the only one I’ve enjoyed a lot are crossword puzzles. I haven’t done one in years though. I love word games in general. Scrabble and Scattergories are two of my favorite games. Also Taboo. I even love Hangman.

I’m doing some online scrabble games with a friend, but that’s it. I’m really bad seeing words, so sometimes I do “cheat” by using a site that tells you the words you can use with your tiles. I o my do that when I can’t figure anything out.

Otherwise I’m not a game person unless the game is played all by chance (phase 10, for example). I’d much rather scrap or sew or knit with my time.

Now I do enjoy doing these where you make the words fit.

Every night before bed I play a little Kakuro. I used to play Sudoku but DH's grandpa gave DH a Kakuro book...DH didn't like it so I picked it up and fell in love. Haven't looked at Sudoku since. We like board games in this house but not necessarily "logic" ones except Clue. Maybe when DS is a bit older we can try some more advanced ones?

I do NOT like those logic puzzle books. I keep thinking of ways around the logic, which just ends up frustrating me. :giggle

I also enjoy logic puzzles, the whodunnit ones. I also enjoy Sodoku on occasion, but usually it's when we are traveling so I have something to do while waiting or in the car. To be honest, I don't often use my free time on those types of things since it's so limited!

I found a bunch of old logic puzzle books that haven't been done yet in my house clean out. I used to spend hours doing those. Mom would be doing word search puzzles and I would be doing the logic puzzles so these books have to be well over 25 years old. I started working my way through them. Although I get more frustrated these days so if the puzzle doesn't seem to go together for me instead of erasing all the x's and dots and starting over, I just quit!

On my Kindle and now iPad, I have done word search games. I also like MahJong type of games. I also used to do what is called "Kriss Kross" puzzles which is a fill in word game but not like what you have shown above. I used to get those at the store but no longer see them. But, I just found an app for the iPad. Gonna check it out!

As far as Clue... I love that game but only when I play it on the computer. I win 9 out of 10 times I play since I can choose rookie level for my opponents.

We love all puzzles! I'm particularly fond of sudoku's & we usually have a big family traditional puzzle spread out on the table once a month or so!

I do NOT like figuring things out in general. I am not curious about how things work or why they are the way they are. Puzzles (& Legos -- ugh!) are something I avoid like the plague. See also suduko.

I do enjoy crossword puzzles & word searches (and games like Scattergories) but I don't do them often.

Yes, I do every puzzle I can, and I do them because of my father. He could do them in ink! It was sad when his brain tumor took all that away from him. He couldn’t find the answers and if he did, he couldn’t put the pen to the paper. So I used to help him. Now I do them in his memory, but I still use a pencil with a big eraser.
