January 11: Art Journaling-What's on the INside!?!

Okay, I have two questions, @AnneofAlamo

We have to use the silhouettes provided, but can we modify them? For example add a pregnant belly? (asking for a friend... LOL) It would still be recognisable.

When you say "Fill the silhouette with the challenge subject, What's on the INside?", does it have to be jam packed or can we still have some blank space in it?

TIA for your answers!!

Thanks for this super fun challenge, Anne - and thanks Rachel for the super silhouette.
I procrastinated for days because I felt so intimidated by this challenge, and then ended up loving it and feeling really exhilarated by the process.
I did put a stroke around the silhouette after I'd clipped a bg pp to it, to give it a bit more definition. But the stroke is definitely an INNER one.

Thanks for the challenge Anne! This brought out a few emotions for me today. We have been having a hard time lately, emotionally and financially, and that is what is inside at the moment. It was quite therapeutic to do this, and here's hoping that my difficult road turns into a beautiful destination soon!!

Hi

Newbie here,

I am having difficulty uploading it is 800 px on the long edge and less than 250K. I have tried png, jpeg but the thumbnail is clipping. When you see "what is inside" it is very ironic, it's all about being calm which I think is somewhere inside???

Should I save it to a png, put it on a square layer and then try to resize and upload?

Thanks in advance,
Cinzia
I'm sorry to be so late, if you pop the whole thing on a square 12x12 and then save for web. Here is a great thread to help with that! How to Get your Layout RIGHT in the gallery and Forum

first off congrats to your friend(LOL), but I would ask that you not modify the silhouette to that degree. but you can do a second page and modify the fire out of it! or even use your own.
it does not have to be jammed pack. We actually discussed this in the back. sometimes there is just one thing in there, and that is all we can handle. this is you. inside you, enjoy the process and have fun!
sorry it took so long, been away from puter...darn kids! lol

you all are making my eyes and heart so happy! I am caught up to here on comments and checking. Any PMs have been sent on any variations to rules!
