January 11: Art Journaling-What's on the INside!?!

Thanks for the challenge Anne...

Here is mine.

I *think* I complied with all of the rules. The only thing that may not is that I duplicated the silhouette to indicate "multiple layers of myself" so technically I used two. I think it kept with the spirit of the challenge, but I can remove it if you think otherwise.

Like everyone, I have lots of roles - mother, daughter, aunty etc. I also have lots going on in my world and in my head ;-)

Hi

Newbie here,

I am having difficulty uploading it is 800 px on the long edge and less than 250K. I have tried png, jpeg but the thumbnail is clipping. When you see "what is inside" it is very ironic, it's all about being calm which I think is somewhere inside???

Should I save it to a png, put it on a square layer and then try to resize and upload?

Thanks in advance,
Cinzia

Save it as a jpg and use 600px as your max. That usually gets mine under the 250k limit for what is normally a 12x12" page.

BEST challenge ever!!! But then--they are all fabulous.
Here's mine, and I had so much fun doing this!

Thank you for this great challenge! I really like how it came together. I already sent it to a friend as a reminder how great she is.

This was a challenge - 50 layers x 2 (I lost the first version), and trying to upload it into the thumbnail without clipping..... oh dear. After all was said and done it was more of an adventure than anything else. Thanks so much, I did enjoy the irony.

This was a fun challenge, even though art journal style is hard for me.

I had a fun time clipping papers to masks and then stacking those and futzing with blending modes. Anyway, I kept it mostly bright because I'm 95% together and strong, but there's a small piece of me that's stressed out and holding it together, hence the light-opacity "I don't have time to have a nervous breakdown."
