Sandwich Pad Patter|11.3

@bestcee Yes German remolade is different, it is stronger in taste and more lumpy, the German one is more like a relish type thing, the Danish one more similar to a mayo. We eat it with fish and chips a lot to.
In Denmark you can buy cumin cheese, different varieties ,but even if it is on the softer side ,you can slice it, it is delicious... here in Malta we can not buy that ,so I mix cumin with a neutral cream cheese leave it for a bit so the taste goes in to it. Yummm

2 flat teaspoons cumin , to 1 small tub cheese (not sure of weight 250 /300 gram). Enjoy

Lots of favourite sandwiches for me..... egg & lettuce is one - chicken with mayonaise - tin salmon with mayonaise - tomato with salt and pepper.

cress - watercress? Just checking! I don't know if I've ever had that sandwich. Is it hard boiled sliced eggs? Or like mashed up egg salad eggs?
The boiled egg is mashed into mayonnaise. Cress is something we all learn to grow from seed on the window ledge as kids in England. We harvest it from the tub when the shoots are about 3 inches long. I don't think it's the same as water cress.

I love a good grilled cheese sandwhich with a side of Tomato Soup on a cold day ":)

I also love and old fashioned BLT on white bread with Mayo, or
A Roast beef with mayo and tomato on white,
and if I am in New York, a liverwurst and mustard on fresh rye bread from the bakery :)

Oh man- I love just about any sandwich! I love a good old Turkey, cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato etc! Even BLT & PBJ are fine by me! ;) Breakfast- egg, bacon, cheese sammies are frequent fliers around here too!

A few of my faves are not made at home:
Jimmy John's- Beach Club Unwich with extra turkey & guac!
Meltz Extreme Grilled Cheese- Cheezy Capreezy

I'm intrigued by this almost-quesadilla sandwich. It sounds delicious!
Yes, it is kind of like a quesadilla but the flavors are yours to make up. I like ham or turkey slices with Swiss cheese and the brown mustard. My dd likes mayo. I also like a chipotle sauce.

Take your soft tortilla, spread your sauce down the middle. Lay some deli meat slices down the middle, along with some cheese. Fold both sides in so it is folded into thirds, the two sides overlap. Lay folded side down first in the pan so those folds cook first. When golden, flip and cook the backside. I use a non-stick pan without any spray or oil, but you could add that if you wanted a crisper outside.

This sounds intriguing. We have made lavender and herb cream cheese before, but eat it with chips or crackers.

Another favorite - grilled chicken salad (or tuna salad). Make your chicken or tuna salad sandwich as usual and grill both sides like you would a grilled cheese sandwich. Yummy! Crunchy bread outside and just slightly warm inside.

Speaking of chicken salad, I love mine with lettuce and tomato. I also put those on my egg salad sandwiches.

I could eat just about any s/w but the idea of PB&J has always been too much for me _ I can do peanut butter by itself & jam/ your jelly by it self but together - sorry but no, hard pass :hide

We love Firehouse Subs -- they have a turkey bacon ranch sandwich that is delicious.

I love turkey sandwichs after Thanksgiving (toast some bread with mayo and turkey)
