ohhh I remember Vinnie! what a wonderful thing she'll be here at the Pad!! welcome!!
 
What a welcome! Goodness you are all so kind hearted and warm... I'm so thankful to call this place my digital home now. Thanks you @Lynne-Marie for the little nudge back to this faithful community. It's neen a little over a year since I retired and it feels so strange to say that because it feels more like 2 years! I guess because so much has happened, like moving cities, having a baby... Purchasing a cricket! Yes that's a milestone for me, as it's opened up so many hybrid oppurtunies, like making stickers! You guys do not know how obssed with stickers I am! I never thought I'd be back in this industry designing to be honest, but me dabbling in different crafts (namely junk journaling) has lead me back to digital scrapbooking. I have missed designing collections.

I wish I had more time to play this with all this weekend but I have to force myself not to after a week of creating and business stuff. I'll try my best to particapate though.

That is so encouraging to read, Lisa! I'm not too sure about bringing in the retired products. Isn't the whole point of retiring a product , to not bringing them back? I could bring them back but I guess I want to honour those that bought during the retiremnt sale thinking they were going away forever. I don't know what are your thoughts as a customer and how about the designers out there, what are the rules around bringing back retired prodcuts? @lmccandless?

He is the TLP Mascot, why here he is now! he's a rather committed crafter himself - he's good for us international peeps as well (i'm aussie) - he can hop across the pond, no drama at all!
 
He gets dressed up differently and makes an appearance for every event here. And in true fairytale fashion, we all live in hope that one day, someone's kisses will turn him into a prince! (at least i believe that is the theory)
 
@vinniepearce I have to admit that I too have many of your old kits in my stash and I would personally love to see them return at the Pad. I think everyone would share my excitement at seeing such beautiful creations return to digiland :)

P.S. You can read more about Bart on the last page of your Getting Started guide but to summarize, he's a holdover from vintage TLP, our frog mascot. He makes appearances during our special events and everyone tries to "kiss the frog"! It's a crazy, silly tradition we have here.

I love seeing him pop up at events! Silly but fun tradition & hopefully I'm not the only one who enjoys it (He does seem popular with the amount of affection he receives)
