ring, ring | Pad Patter 08.03

I am a player of ringtones and notifications. I have a different one for my friend group text, my family group text, and my husband. His notification is "I am groot". And his ringtone is the Incredibles theme song because, he's Mr. Incredible.

My dad's ringtone is The Imperial March from Star Wars.
My default Ringtone is Come and Get Your Love from Guardians of the Galaxy.
My default text notification is the first bar of the Harry Potter theme song.

I'm on Android, and it's super easy to change the ringtones/notifications. So I do it when I get bored. I hate my phone sounding like everyone elses.

I usually forget to 'unsilence' it after stuff so I don't hear it all that often, so I guess it doesn't matter so much

This is me. My ringer is almost off. And I can't commit to a different ring tone, so mine is just the default.

I just changed it when I got the phone to the seemingly least annoying sound.
Exactly this! So many of them are just annoying! Maybe that motivates people to answer the phone just to shut it up!

I prefer a fav song.. I've had Ed Sheeran's Shape of You as my ring tone for quite some time now :)
So if the song comes on the radio now, do you reach for your phone? Did you have a different song before this one came out? It's on one of my spotify playlists, Ed is basically a genius!

My ringtone right now is the song Stressed Out by 21 Pilots, and my text tone is Thunder by Imagine Dragons. I very seldom have my ringer on so I don't change them too often, every few months or so. I do like to change them at holidays. For Halloween I use the Halloween movie theme or The Exorcist theme, at Thanksgiving I use Adam Sandler's Thanksgiving song, and at Christmas I use the song from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation or Christmas Canon Rock by Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
I Lol'd at the appropriate -ness of Stressed Out as a teacher's ringtone!

I have the boring ring ring - except for one custom ring. I have a video of my daughter laughing hysterically at me because I stopped to use a porta-potty on the side of the road while delivering veggies.

When we were on the train in Alaska/Canada, we had just crossed from Canada back into Alaska. Everyone was quiet waiting for the passport inspector to come to our car. My daughter chose that moment to call us and she started "laughing" in the quiet train. I quickly told her I could not talk. Later a lady came up and told me how much she loved my ringtone for my daughter. I will probably always keep it.
