I'm going to be straight up with y'all. I was thinking all morning on a topic for Pad Patter today and I got nothing haha. I'm thinking my brain is just fried with it being the end of the school year and all the craziness that comes with it. Then all my kids were here for Mother's Day and I've been out working in my flower beds, getting them ready for planting. Now, it's late evening and I still have nothing LOL.

So, we'll just keep it random. What's going on with you all? Anything exciting coming up this week? We have the usual 3 baseball games, but at least they are 6pm games instead of 8pm games.

Speaking of the end of another school year... my Emma comes home from college on Friday! The girl is finishing up her Freshman year... crazy! I swear we just hauled her and her belongings there, and now she is coming home!!! Other then that, just a week of work ahead...

Yay!! I know you'll be glad to have her home!! Time sure does fly, doesn't it?

One of my daughters just left for her prom trip and the other is leaving tomorrow morning. They're each going with friends, and it's located in a resort with a water park. So they're going to have a lot of fun for the next three days. My son is a homebody so I'll be enjoying a break from my usual chauffeuring duties. Maybe some extra scrapping! :D

The next exciting thing, right after my girls return home from their prom trip, is my daughter's choir concert. She has a solo in the song The Climb. Anyone in Virginia? Come listen to this awesome choir Friday or Saturday. :D

That sounds like such a fun trip!!! I'm sure they'll have a blast!!
I'm in Virginia every day (at work), but unfortunately on the other side of the state. I would love to come and hear her and the whole choir sing!!

After a wonderful 2 weeks at the beach, we are back home. I'll be grocery shopping tomorrow. Now that's very exciting!

We're leaving early Thursday to go to my granddaughter's graduation on Friday. We have a big weekend planned with her graduation on Friday and her party on Saturday evening. We have SO much planned for the almost 4 days we'll be there. I probably won't be around during that time. Thursday night we're all going to a local bar to a weekly Trivial Pursuit Party, so the festivities start almost as soon as we get there. I'll have lots of new pictures to scrap though.

This week should be pretty low-key around here, which I'm looking forward to because the past 2 weeks were nuts. Lots of activities and both sets of grandparents were here--one pair was here May 3 - 5 and the other pair just left yesterday.

So yeah, I'm gonna make a Costco run tmw and do housework. Not exactly a barrel of fun but it'll be nice to get back into my normal weekday routine. I slacked off today cuz Mother's Day.

Oh, speaking of... DH got me a 1TB solid state drive for my laptop as a mother's day gift. I'm hoping to install that either tmw (Monday) or Tues. Tonight I backed up the few items that needed it and then spent about an hour just purging DS stuff off my existing HD. Gotta go thru pics and videos tmw. Then I can clone the drive and pop that baby under the hood. Whoo hoo!

This is my early week, 6:15am drop off for a daycare child.
Working 6:15am-6pm Mon-Fri
Tuesday my hubby has a meeting after work then he will go straight to the concert band practice until 10pm.
Wednesday our middle child has Tball practice
Thursday our oldest has Karate
Saturday I have our lawn bowling season kickoff game, then potluck after.

Never a dull moment in our house.

Studying for a big certification exam next month ... June 14th. Yikes. Daughter has JR prom on Friday, and then we have to drive 5-6 hours to get from the prom event to Syracuse for a Regatta early Saturday morning. Should be an interesting 24 hours. Then Sunday my daughter is visiting Syracuse University. Son will be at a Marine Poolee function this weekend.

the usual busyness this week. The children don't end school until July here. On Thursday my older two and my husband will be performing together as part of a community orchestra fund raiser.

Awesome gift!
Thanks! But it wasn't a surprise. I have been telling him that every once in awhile my laptop makes a weird noise at startup. I finally videotaped the sound and showed him. He looked shocked at the noise and immeditately started looking at SSDs. (gotta admit, it bothered me that he didn't trust me until there was "proof" but that's another story...) So while it wasn't a surprise gift, it was very appreciated! (And maybe he got the big SSD to make up for not believing me at first?)

I love hearing what everyone is up too! Jan I totally feel your pain... it's May and it's just crazy with all the extra end of the school year stuff here too! Last weekend was confirmation for my son, so we had a party to plan and get ready for, then this week/weekend we got our floors refinished in the living and then I decided to paint the living room and hallway this weekend, so it's been non-stop and I'm exhausted, but i feel like we've accomplished a lot! Next weekend my Aunt is coming to visit, so we are doing a girls shopping day on Saturday and I'm looking forward to that!

Well i got called to pick DS up from the school sickbay today so no swimming today and tmrw he's staying home (hopefully its only a 24hr bug); DD's in a drama night at school tmrw evening and the rest of the week, touch wood, is normal! Cold (for Aust.) but normal!
(And i have been seconds away from typing Nothing as a topic many times so i hear ya! )

We got our boxer pups on Friday. I forgot how much it's like having a newborn in the house. I haven't had a full night's sleep since. Haha! They are adorable though and totally worth it. The top two photos are Charlie (girl) and the bottom two are Milo (boy).

My son's baseball team had their last game on Saturday. They played for third place and won. They played their best game of the season and really ended on a good note. They have a pizza party tonight to celebrate a great season. Many of them hadn't played in years or ever so I think they did pretty good considering.

OMG ... if I lived closer I'd volunteer to be the nanny and give you a little break! They are so cute! Enjoy those darlings .... love their names!

@carrie1977 they are so adorable! Guess there will be a lot of puppy scrap pages in gallery, I love it!

Kids had their first day of school after spring break, I loved having them home but this morning I really liked my cup of coffee in silence....
My boyfriend got fired and is home (from 5/1) while he's not working we decided to take the time to renovate some things in our house that are on the to-do list for a long time. We started with the stairs. I just decided what I want and ordered it. Can wait till it's finished.
