Milestone birthday ... 5 years old! Harper has been soooo excited to turn five this year. She loves any excuse for a party, and that means birthdays are the best. Especially when one’s birthday is the day before a holiday that’s celebrated with FIREWORKS! We think she delayed her birth by almost a week, just so she could celebrate with fireworks on her birthday every year. *wink* This year Harper asked for ice cream cupcakes with pink frosting. That fluffy pink icing made for beautiful, fun treats -- perfect for our fun-loving Harper. Then we surprised her with a toy she hadn’t asked for, but that we knew she’d love -- her very own firebreathing dragon that makes noises & moves it’s head, & yes, burps. We can’t imagine life without Harper. She’s filled the last 5 years with giggles & dancing & color & sparkle. She is full of ideas and loves to be silly. She helps us remember to see the bright side, and reminds us that it’s ok to have fun. Can’t wait to see what antics she gets up to in the next five years.
What a nice milestone birthday to celebrate and to journal about! Great storytelling, Harper sounds wonderful! Love the pops of red and the big #5. Thank you for playing along with my challenge!
I really love everything about your page. I like the photo collage and how you layered the heart over the date. The color scheme is also very soothing and easy to look at! I love it!
