If there is one thing I could tell my future self it would have to be go forth and be fearless. So many times, I have missed an opportunity because I was too afraid to start and subsequently fail. But because I haven’t started I have already failed. Go ahead and open that Etsy shop. It doesn’t matter if you sell anything. Just putting yourself out there is enough. Go ahead and blog about your successes. It isn’t bragging, it’s letting the world know that you have done something to be proud of. The one thing holding you back from being great is yourself. Get past that and there is no telling how far you can go. Teach your kids that it’s alright to try something and fail because at least they tried. And then they will know better for the next time they try something new. All failures have a lesson to be taught.
