Working Smarter Not Harder

Description
I am not sure how exactly I found the microcredential, Digital Skills for the Workplace late last year from AcademyEx & even better news it was free but I’m so glad I did. While it has been challenging at times & fast paced, it has been a great way to learn all about the digital tools out there in the big wide world. From Google Docs, Padlet, Nano Banana, Chat GPT & all of the rest of the AI tools, Ideamap, Trello, Miro, Google Alerts, Perplexity, Canva, Clipchamp, Linkedin, Google Sites, HaveIBeenPawned, Gamma & Kahoot all in seven weeks. While most of it was brand new to me, its allowed me to think of ways I can streamline my job hunt process using Trello & Kanban Project Methodologies which I looked into while I was working on my assignment. Even if I don’t use them all now it’s great that they are now in my digital “toolbox” for future work.

I'm so glad the class has been good for you and you've learned so much! Great page and what a great mix of products on here! I love how you rotated the template too!

It sounds like you’re learning a lot Jennifer! I’m glad you’ve been able to apply it to your job application process. I love all these pretty paints matting everything else.

great that you've got some new tools and skills to work with. Great documenting.

Thank you all. It's definitely been interesting that's for sure.

I’m glad you’ve been able to apply it to your job application process.
At the moment for the actual class it's only creating a plan for using the digital tools. Once I've had a few days off after my assignment is submitted on 4/7 pending any actual job interviews (I have one out but doubt I'll hear back til after the 7th anyway unless they close the job early) , I'll use the tools to execute the plan....there just hasn't been the time or brain capacity to actually make the plan operational yet but given the actual plan hasn't been written, it's a moot point at the moment. That's this weekends task providing I don't either a) procrastinate or b) get distracted!

I love how you created this horizontal flow on this bright, uplifting page. Sounds like there is much to be explored, so glad this turned out to be a very positive undertaking!

Beautiful, colorful, and hopeful! Great job making this feel so cohesive, and best of luck with your interviews!
