Journaling:
"When we first moved in to our home back in 1999, the Maple tree was so overgrown with limbs all the way to the ground and hiding the whole front of the house. We trimmed it, as well as shaped the bushes in the front, but it got too big and was a worry during storms, so we had it taken down. The tree next to the garage started to die so we removed that as well. Fast forward to 2021 and now, the front of our home looks so open and wonderful with the bushes grown in and perfectly shaped. We do not get snow often so this photo from 2021 is so delightful!"

(ETA**I just noticed.. our garage door is different too.. LOL we changed that out a few years ago too!)

You have a very lovely home! We had a maple tree in the front of our last home and it was overgrown too. Your home looks so pretty with the snow cover. Love the big photo format and the snowflakes and bead spill. Wonderful page!

@HeatherB Thank you so very much Heather! (This morning while watching the news, the next town over from us had a house that looked exactly like ours and from the storm with the 60mph winds and rain last night, their maple went right through the spare bedroom in the back of the house through the roof. That was right after I finished this page this morning and showing my page to my hubby. After seeing the news, he said that is EXACTLY why we took down our maple as he thought that would happen to us.. we are so blessed with our home after all these years.) Thank you for your sweet comments!

What a beautiful house and such a pretty winter white page! I like how you did the bigger now picture with the smaller picture from the past. We also had two huge trees in front of our house and several in the back that we had to have taken down and thank goodness after these crazy winds yesterday and today!

I love this Christa! The smaller framed photo is a great contrast to the larger masked photo. You have a beautiful home! Thanks for playing along!

@meganmecrazy Thanks Megan... was a crazy storm for sure and absolutely nerve racking with that wind blowing at 60mph Tuesday.. yesterday was only 30 mph but still quite windy. Thank you again re my home :)

@Lynnette Thank you so much Lynnette :) I enjoyed your challenge!!
