I love the colors on this!!!

@RebeccaH thank you, orange and black are the predominant colors of our electoral system here in New Zealand which is why I chose them

Jennifer- we sure did pick the same theme for these two layouts! I hope your day working the polls was interesting and fun!

@KayTeaPea it is, I've worked for elections for 4 cycles now (only missing one since I was 18). Hopefully I'll be doing either Advanced Polls, Election Day or both later this year as its another election in October.

I worked the 2020 polls as our poll workers at this location were overwhelmingly older people and since it was during the worst of the pandemic I felt that I might be less prone to severe repercussions from contracting covid if that happened on election day. My county did not do much mail- in voting unless you were out of the county on Election day, so I knew it would be crowded and the chances of catching Covid 19 were increased with the large number of people who would be coming through the precinct that day. Thankfully, my fellow poll workers were kind and funny which helped keep the voters in pretty good moods as they came through to vote.
