I can tell it's a well-loved Ronald McDonald House. I don't know if they're international, but it's one of the charities that McDonald's (the fast food place) started (I believe it was the wife of the founder who took this on). It's a place where families can stay while their loved one is in a regional hospital. Would've been so helpful if it had been a thing when my sister was in the hospital 3 hours from our home back in the day. I know many moms and dads who've been blessed by this organization. It was great to give back!
@scrapchyck I believe they are international or at least somewhat international. I know here in New Zealand we have three I think. I agree having services like this or even Radio Lollipop which I've done on the children's wards are invaluable during a time of need.

I had never heard of Radio Lollipop and just had a lovely time on their web site! What a great organization! Laughter definitely reduces pain and activity takes the mind of anxiety-provoking issues. Love it!
