- Journaling is a bit long, but here's the gist... on our honeymoon, my husband & I got super lost in the woods trying to find this cave... as it turns out, we made a wrong turn straight out of the parking lot, and it took us HOURS to get to our final destination. On our family vacation last year, the kids decided they wanted to see the trail we accidentally took... so we went the wrong way on purpose. Even with the better trail markings and signs, it still took us over 4 hours, and we had to backtrack more than once. But it's the best way to see Old Man's Cave!
