I love this piece of art in my town. It tells a historical story, about how the street lights were lit back in the day when there wasn’t electricity yet. The man that had this job, also had somewhat of a security job. Since he walked around the whole town every evening. It is a very simple statue, and it is placed in such a random spot, that it actually makes me love it more. And that’s the thing with this city of mine. On first look, it’s nothing much. But there are quite a few hidden gems. Once you pay attention, this town gets prettier.
