Summer Nights
Summer is my least favorite season. To me it means hot, humid weather. Thank God for AC. But, I do fondly remember warm (not hot) June nights with fireflies lighting up the darkness, like magic. One of my Shih Tzus actually noticed the fireflies and tried to catch them. Of course, I guess they have a bad taste so it is good she was never successful! Don’t see them so much any more. I guess “magic” is gone.

1. I don't like summer - too hot and humid. But I DO fondly remember watching fireflies on a warm June night.
2. Yellow is the color of summer to me.
3. The splat of sand under the journaling - sand it for summer.
