this is so eye catching. Your contrast on the photo is amazing, well done. Great storytelling too.
You are beautiful.

Oh Becky I just love this photo of you and I adore this page!! What a fantastic contrast in your photo with the very dark blacks, it looks so good against your other colour choices and I just love the splatters!!

Fantastic Challenge Page and a Froggy Fave of mine for the start of the new month!! :byay:beat:heartlub:beat:heartlub

Oh this is amazing, Becky! Love that wonderful and beautiful photo of you with the pops of color from the paint.. What a beautiful page! Congrats on the Froggy Fav too!

I loved reading your journaling and how perfect that you were a camp counselor and you used this for your summer camp page! Hugs my friend.. Love it! :bk

@Angela Toucan Awww....thank you! I look good in B&W! LOL I did use an action on the photo, but also bumped up the contrast and I, too, love the way it turned out. Considering that the walls were an ugly color and my shirt was bright purple, it was th perfect thing to do with the photo.

@Rachel Jefferies What? No way? A Froggy Fave with my first LO of Summer Camp?! Thank you so much, Rachel! What a treat! That shirt I'm wearing is PURPLE, so it went super black and I loved it!

@cfile Thank you, thank you! When I was scrolling through my photos looking for one that I really loved, I was kind of surprised it was this one. When I realized I hadn't scrapped it yet and saw the shirt, I was like, "Oh yeah...perfect for Summer Camp time!"

Highly impactful use of color through repetition. The brackets create a loose visual frame while painterly bits escape through the edges. The photo is big, bold and beautiful, anchored with your journaling on vellum with the background showing through. Great sense of design and balance! Thanks for playing along!
