This week was about finding ourselves. I decided to use Mark Manson's Question #6, in his "Life Purpose" article. (His language is a little rough around the edges, but his message was spot on for me.) Question 6 is "If you had to leave the house everyday for 8 hours, where would you go and what would you do?" I had to leave the house last Friday and decided to test it out. I really had nowhere I had to go, so I went to Michael's and Barnes & Noble. I already know that I'm passionate about art and reading, but it was an interesting concept. That's what I scrapped about.
Just the other day my daughter had a playdate for only 1.5 hours and I was like - i don't want to go home, so I went to B&N for the first time in ages. Literally the moment I walked in I was like **SIGH** Lol!! Thank you for being open to trying new exercises and THANK You!! for sharing with us!
@mimisgirl I know we would definitely get along, Erin! Funny thing is, I hadn't been there for awhile, either, I'd been to Michael's, but seemed to always be in a hurry. I totally felt this calm come over me when I walked into B&N. It was a very interesting challenge and I'm subscribing to that nut, Mark, now. His POV cracks me up. Thanks for hosting a great month of thought-provoking challenges!
