I fell head over heels in love with the papers in Lynne Marie's Sept BYOC Bedtime Stories kit and I have already shown you my thank you cards.
I did the same thing here, I decided to the pretty papers shine and not over embellish them.
I added simple stamped and die-cut birthday sentiments. In the main photo, the sentiment is heat embossed. A technique I love.
I have used my cardmaking stash for these, but if you don't have a stash like mine, you can still make these cards.
Print and cut the papers to the right size for your card blank (I find 4 x 5 1/4 works well), then instead of die-cuts for the sentiment, you can use stickers and mount them with foam tape. Easy! DM me if you ever need a hand making cards using digital kits.
Here is a photo where the card on the left uses a sticker, that I mounted onto a plain piece of cardstock and then applied it to the background using foam tape. See? No need for fancy stamps!
