For September Journaling Challenge : Unexpected
Sarita got a job in Seville, Spain in 2019 for the summer, she spent 3 months working there and fell in love with the city. I couldn't make it whilst she was there, she was gonna take me in 2020, she had booked all, but then... COVID turn up to ruin the party. After that, I didn't really want to risk travelling, but last year we made it happen, was a wonderful time, amazing places, amazing history, great culture... absolutely amazing food at very low prices. There was also a LOT of alcohol in this trip, I was fearing the first day that I would be unwell after drinking air lunch and then at dinner... but we were drinking what they call Tinto de Verano, Summer's Red, is wine with lemonade.... amazingly unexpected was the fact that we continue drinking with meals every day lunch and dinner...and I didn't feel unwell, not even once!!! They also have the kind of cider we like, so a couple of times we had cider with lunch, this was one absolutely marvellous week we spent there... full of other unexpected things, pace will come later when I have more help to write the journaling.
