Translation:
A self portrait I painted in 1989. As a clown in a straitjacket with everyone's disapproving glances around me. A try to catch the feeling of never fitting in.

      It is a beautiful piece of work. Art work both a self portrait and a setting with the pale leaves almost giving your clown figure angelic wings
