- Hi Everyone...
It's been a while...again since I have been here...A lot has changed in some ways & in other ways has stayed the same...In general,my health has improved & my grief has also improved,compared to where it was last time I uploaded here...I am very busy now with my life moving forward,in hopefully the right direction...I am becoming more independent again,so that makes me happy...But,I am struggling with my home situation...and that has caused me much unneeded stress...And now I have been made aware,by my doctors & by myself,that I have 2 potentially 3,health issues that could be very serious...yet again...Just when you think you are getting better,something else starts up again...So,now I have to go for more tests to find out what next steps are gonna be...It seems that almost for certain,that I will require at least 1 or 2 more surgeries...I'm so tired of surgeries...But,I am trying to remain positive,despite the fact,that I am nervous...of what these tests may reveal...
So,I have started creating again...probably because I have something to create for again...I mean,a specific reason...I have also started an Art Journal in book form,to write down my feelings & also create some actual art journal pages...or parts of pages...It is obviously,a work in progress...and you probably know by now,I am not gonna do anything like the traditional kind of Art Journaling Journal you might see...I create as I feel necessary or just write in the journal book as to reflect on the day or bit** about something that is bothering me...I have photos,song lyrics,art journal pages,elements,word strips and the sort...I have started reading & listening to music more intently again...In the past this has given me great hope and comfort & helped me like a form of therapy...[especially,the music]...When my husband passed away I could not listen to music,as it was one of my grief/depression triggers for large & long bouts/outbursts of crying...It was just too much & too emotionally draining for me to continue,so I had to stop listening to music all together...But,I always hoped it would return & it has now...So,now another huge and positive step forward for me...I am so glad! because internally,I knew how much I missed listening to music,but my mind,that was filled with grief,wasn't ready yet to take that next step in my grief journey...I have found again,my new/old comfort zone of happiness with it...but also of self-reflection in some of my favorite very moving lyrics that also relate to my own situation...and have given me great comfort...

**Lots of inspiration here for me to dig into...
#1. The idea of "VIBRANT" Harmony...as in Vibrant Colors...my layout is filled with those vibrant colors...
#2, Still related to colors...Ellen chose greens,pinks,oranges and yellows...I did the same,but with much more vibrancy...
#3. The large face in the middle of the layout...I too have a large face,but mine is a large Art Doll of NBK's Design...

#7. A kind of Art Journal style page...
#8a. A Round Clock [I have several round clocks] [recolored]
8b. A Round Flair...I have several round flairs...
#9. Strings of black,with those black & white photos...and I have a black and white photo of myself to the right & one I created to the left side of the layout...
#10. Her background is mostly white space with cracks & messy attributes...So is mine,but I went for the opposite and went with an almost completely black background with paints and splits...
