- 4 years ago my oldest sister was diagnosed with Lewy Body Parkinsons. The disease progressed rapidly. stealing her ability to express herself, to walk well, and eventually any measure of self care. She fell, resulting in TBI, and has not recovered from a vegetative state. The injury was too severe. So hard to say good bye in this way...
