This song, I adore it. It's all about youthful rebellion, love, and growing up. My favorite line, "someday, we'll look back at this and it will all seem funny" Yes, it will seem funny, not that it's actually funny. Bruce is looking ahead, seeing his character still with the character, Rosalita. Oh my gosh, not good enough for her dad. Let's escape together. I love this song.
Forever Joy: Open House: Papers 1 and 6, bonus paper 4. Wooden spoon and lace paper. (The Italian in me, got a whooping with that thing, I imagine Rosalita's mom chasing Bruce with that wooden spoon.

@ajm Thank you so much. It's strange, I started 2 different pages with lyrics from newer songs and finally made this. Kasey Musgraves, Cardinal and then The Moss, The Place that Makes me Happy.
Val this is awesome.. How fun and I knew it would be a Bruce song from you!!! That woman ephemera and the border and doily edge, fabulous.. and then the lyrics and bold title.. well done! Thank you for sharing and playing along with the June Inspiration Challenge!
sooo much fun!!!!!! I have to say, I don't know the song (at least consciously, I may have heard it but my memory didn't register) but the minute I saw this, in my mind started another fun melody called Adelita (as old as me or more!) you can listen and see one version I love here:
@MrsPeel Thank you, those are so very enjoyable! I feel like my middle school Spanish teacher played that song for us, way back when. The horns, love it. There is a huge amount of history with the song as well. Very cool!
