It’s hard to believe that this photo was taken only four days before Betty went to hospital for over a week and three weeks before she passed away. While I didn’t get to see her when she went back to the retirement village into palliative care as she deteriorated more rapidly than we had hoped I am pleased that I have over thirty years of happy memories & life that I have shared with her to remember rather than the final days of pain and sadness. I don’t know how I would have felt or coped honestly so I am at peace. with it and look to see the positives instead.
What a great picture to have to remember your grandmother from and your page design is gorgeous! That black background really makes those bits of yellow pop! Gorgeous page!
May her memory always be a blessing...this is a beautiful tribute page. I love that it captures both the sadness of her parting and the golden happiness of a life well lived.
