I Really Enjoyed This Wonderful Challenge!...Piece By Piece & Ingredient By Ingredient...It Was Such A Pleasure To Make This Layout...It Is That Time Of Year Again When Canada Day Is Celebrated(Already Celebrated On July 1st) & In The US It Is The 4th Of July Holiday Today Actually!...So Happy 4th Of July & Belated Canada Day Wishes! To Everyone Who Celebrated/Celebrates...To That End...I Wanted To Make A Layout That Would Combine The Two Holidays Equally But Celebrate The Same Thing That We All Enjoy!...Fireworks & Freedom!...I Couldn't Get That Song By Katy Perry Out Of My Head..."Baby You're A Firework...Etc"...So The Theme Was Born...

I Had Fun Combining Papers Etc...I Ended Up Using 4 Papers...Well 3...Plus The Canadian Maple Leaf Paper That I Made From A Photo Of The Maple Leaf...I Ended Up Blending & Combining 7 Photos Together...So Much Fun For Me!...When I Was Happy With How They All Looked Together On My Layout...I Preceded To Go Through The Ingredients List & Put In All Of The Requirements...I Hope It Was O.K. That I Used A Frame Border Because I Didn't Have Any Page Borders That Worked...I Only Had Some Christmas Ones & That Wouldn't Work...Also A Good Thing That Photo Extractions Were Allowed Here In This Challenge...I Enjoy Taking Photos Of Things...Extracting Them & Turning Them Into Elements...So Technically I'm O.K With The Rules Here....The Fireworks & Rocket Are Actual Photos That Were Extracted & Reimagined As Elements...So Technically I Have 10 Photos Here In My Layout!...

Oh my goodness, if this isn't an amazing page!!! I can't believe everything you did to create this page - I could sure use some lessons in blending from you! It was so much fun playing round 3 (for me) with you two ladies! Go TEAM ALPHA!!!

Oh, I wanted to also tell you that when we lived in the Detroit area and my hubby was with GM, he had several close friends/coworkers who lived in Windsor. Every year, we all had a joint Canada Day/4th of July party, usually on about July 3rd. It was so much fun celebrating both countries together.

Creating This Layout Was So Much Fun/Different/Interesting For Me...I'm Always Looking For New & Interesting Challenges To Keep My Mojo Going...I Guess Blending Has Become My Signature Layout Style...Your Positive Comments Mean So Much To Me!...Blending Just Takes Practice...A Lot Of Practice...I Really Enjoy The Continuity/Symmetry That It Provides A Layout & I Have A Hard Time Not Putting It In My Layouts These Days...It Just Makes Sense To My Eyes & My Creative Brain I Guess...Hearts & Smiles...:love

@RJMJ I enjoyed working you both, too. Yes that always gets me when more than one person creates with the same "ingredients". They always look so different. That's what makes us artists - none of our artistic brains work the same.

Yes, some of my fondest memories are of partying with the our Canadian friends and celebrating both country's holidays. Good times.

i love that you combined CA and USA holidays together on your page. i'm only about 4 hours from the CA border and we love to visit montreal when we can! beautifully done!
