Paid Parking Debacle

Description
Our tiny little town got a little greedy and tried to create more income by charging us to park. They didn't think through a lot of problems, including the fact that the $800k+ parking meters that they installed weren't ADA compliant. Sigh. At least they paused the mess for this year, but I know it'll be back next summer.

Great storytelling! Sorry your town went through that. At work we say we need a sign that we can just hold up whenever we need to ask, "What is wrong with people?!" I'll get you one! LOL

What a debacle.....honestly if my city did the same, I bet you'd hear the screaming and nashing of teeth from where you are....let's say I doubt it would go down well because.....well, it's change!
