My band director would say this from time to time when we were playing dispassionately. For some reason it always stuck in my head when I only half-heatedly attempted something. Sometimes I feel like that about the first time we married. By the end I wasn’t playing with full passion. I had given up. I think you had too. When we divorced I was certain I’d never be with you again. But – true love doesn’t fade and two years later we married each other again. Now, five years after our SECOND marriage I can say that I am even more in love with you now than ever. This time I am “playing with feeling” – not bottling in unhappiness or frustration. I’m definitely more stubborn than your first wife (also me) I’m also more independent than she was. I liked your first wife – but I like your second wife even more. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that you do too."
Fantastic journaling! I love your heartfelt words, the wit, insight and how your title leads right into the first sentences. The design is pretty spectacular too! Honestly love everything about your page. Congrats on making it work! Not everyone gets a redo like this. Thanks for participating in the challenge!
