journaling: The last time I bought glasses from the eye doctor was April 2022. Then I broke those glasses in July 2023 and had to order replacements from Zenni. I didn’t really need any new glasses since I liked the ones from Zenni and I could still see just fine, but we had about $1,000 left in our flexible spending account that had to be used up or we were going to lose it, so both James and I got new glasses. He ordered new frames and lenses and then there was still about $680 left to spend, so I got a new pair of progressives AND a new pair of computer glasses for work. The regular glasses were almost the exact same frames as last time which I really like. The computer glasses are rather big on my face, but I really love the slightly stronger prescription and they make it so much easier on my eyes at the computer all day at work, so I don’t really care what they look like. Those 2 pairs were $620, so after that I still had $40 to spend, so I ordered one extra pair of computer glasses from Zenni to keep at home! That is a lot of new pairs of glasses at once!
