So very true! It's my dream to go to Scotland, too! My grandparents were born in Scotland & I would love to see where they lived. I know what it feels like to leave your heart in a place, too. Amazing work with that lion statue!

oh my goodness, I went there 20 years ago? Everyone did the tourist stuff in Edinburgh, but I wanted to meet the people, so off I toodled down the lanes, I had a pen and wrote the map on my hand so I could get back. I went hours, and found a second hand shop. I walked in and said "hello". By the time I left, with a smart tartan hat, a glass door knob and a lovely cup of tea, I was in love with Scotland.

that is a lovely dream - to go back to the place where you left you heart. love the map paper and the cute little arrow pinpointing it! we are of english/scottish/irish decent - so i would love to go there someday too!
