What a fabulous page, Jan! I love the blending of the background paper, and all the wonderful gesso as matting around the fun framing of that gorgeous bloom! Lately I am finding the "odd/rarer" plants get my interest so much.. I have never seen an Aloe plant like this.. how fascinating! An advantage of living out in California. Definitely nothing like it in the Midwest. I like the messy background, the green accents that make your succulent pop.
