This recipe makes an 8x8 pan of fudge. If you're a proficient fudge maker, you can double the recipe and make an 8 1/2 x 11 pan. One note from me is use a candy thermometer! I've had so many people tell me they can't make fudge. When I ask them if they use a candy thermometer, they say "no". I say "that's why". It's a must-have for making candy. The drop of candy in cold water never worked for me. LOL
Looks good! We have a family history with my mom and one of my sisters-in-law trying to make peanut butter fudge. One year you had to eat it with a spoon. Another year it needed a hammer to break it into pieces. I think they gave up after that.
@bonnenuit You just made me laugh out loud. Almost everybody I know has had fudge failures. You can always use it as sauce on ice cream. I guess you could break the hard fudge up with a hammer and sprinkle it on. Hahaha
yuuuummmyyyyy! Great card and I'm so glad you had time to make it, Cheryl, cuz this looks awesome! I want to grab through my screen and pluck a piece right off that plate! Thanks so much for playing along!
