Description
Yes, I'm channeling my inner David Bowie.
I was so surprised to find two baby monarch caterpillars and watch them grow and change. Be still my foolish heart. I adore them and they are back on the endangered species list, so please plant Butterfly Weed, which isn't a weed at all. They lay their eggs on these gorgeous plants.
I used:
Bella Gypsy Boyhood: Solid paper blue 3 and frame 4, circle.
Scrapping with Liz: Writing Template Shape 8.
Paula Kesselring: FWP3 Paint 1.
Rebecca Fern Collages Butterfly 2 collage.

So sad that Monarch Butterflies are back on the endangered list. I have Butterfly Plants (I am not calling it a weed!) in my garden. It is awesome that you were able to document the growth of the two butterflies. You captured some great photos of each stage of the process. Best of all - that large photo in the center. Somebody looks very interested in the butterflies! Great interpretation of the "Change" theme, and a wonderful page! Thanks for playing along with my challenge this month. Congratulations! Your page is a Froggy Favorite. :)

Oooh very cool series of photos! So sad that they are endangered! Such beautiful creatures! Very creative scrapping and congrats on your Froggy Fav!!

Beautiful layout and great photos! I like all the circles and your words! I am also always in favor of doing something for the little animals, leaving some weeds and not picking up every leaf. Congratulations on the froggy fav.

@JenEm Thank you. My garden is for the butterflies and bees. Okay, for me too but I like whatever they need. I was super excited to use this for the changes theme. It was perfect timing. Thank you for making me a Froggy Favorite!
@IntenseMagic Thank you ever so much.
@Meibritt Thank you so much. I was struggling to get the words in a semi circle when I remembered that I had bought the template.

My husband Don and I are still new to our house...but be do plan on creating bee and butterfly gardens. This year has been dedicated to observation - where is the light, and where is the watershed. But in the coming years, YES to milkweed.

@ArmyGrl I am so excited for you! My garden hosts: Bee balm, butterfly bush, lilac tree, cone flowers, black eyed Susans and more. Check for what's native to where you live. The Butterfly weed reseeds itself and travels with those beautiful seeds, very much like a dandelion.
