Description
Created for the MOC 8 Day 8 Challenge: Build Your Own Tree.

This layout almost didn't see the light of day. It took me three days to create this beast. And, I almost deleted it on purpose X2. It is not perfect. Thats okay. I am very happy with my Tree and my whimsical world. In this challenge, I come to terms that it is best to make a heartfelt piece, rather than make a layout just for a challenge. I, and many others, will struggle with the challenges from time to time. But, that struggle results in growth. To all my fellow creatives out there....stick with it! Don't give up.

Crap. What did I use to create this? Predominately BackyardScape Collab by Studio Basic and Little Butterfly Wings. The stars come from Lynn Grieveson Watch Stars and the moon come from Valorie Wibbens Twinkle.

i'm not gonna lie, i haven't read everything above but i'm also in the 'glad you didn't trash it' camp - i seriously have no idea how you come up with your ideas but the glow and 'beam me up scotty' kind of whimsical feel with the green tinge and almost aliens coming to explore our nature feel (i'm not sure why but from the x-files and tv, it seems aliens land at night with green kinda lighting), is very cool and i could spend a month trying, and still not come close to creating something like this - way to used your mad skillz!
