Lovely journaling about your father and the difficulties he faced throughout his life. I like your classic clean and simple page that keeps the focus on the story.
@andersm Meg, this is beautiful. I share same sentiments and regard for my own father, my Rock. He has been struggling with advanced Alzhiemers.A.D. has made it difficult for me to continue the relationship, especially since he is 900 miles away- talking on the phone is a challenge. I think I will do my page about him- thank you for the inspiration.
Meg, this is so beautiful. I absolutely love your words and your photo is so touching. Your sentiments and layout is so heart-full and wonderful. Thank you for creating it for this challenge! <3
Oh I am crying along with you, I had a similar experience with my Mum just over a year ago. I remember her saying the same of when her own father died, and I've heard that maybe people choose to die when their loved ones aren't there to save them that extra pain. A beautiful tribute page.
