And so it begins [again]…Starting fresh with a brand new year. Resolving to make time for myself and work on getting back in shape. Tim and I started a morning exercise routine and downloaded iTrackBites to help get our diet and portions right again. It’s been a few years and we really need to get everything back under control again.
1-6-21
We walked the park this morning to change up the exercise a little bit, Riley will love the extra walks! We did a couple days of a low impact beginner workout to get back in the groove and I think walking will help brighten our mood with some fresh air…as long as the weather holds out. Logging our meals and food to control portions has been eye-opening. I’ve been down this path before and it’s hard but being overweight is hard too…time to choose my “hard”.
1-9-21
First week is complete, and I have to say that I am very lucky to have someone to do this with me. We keep each other accountable…he gets me out of bed when I would much rather hit the snooze button! I was able to lose 7 lbs this week and Tim lost 13. We have a long way to go, but it was a step in the right direction. I’m pretty proud of us!
I love those arrows under your dates. I too am using 2021 to get my core in shape, my back keeps going 'out' and I know it is my core... or lack of core muscles.Thank you so much for playing along with my MOC challenge!
