Translation (English is not my native language - please excuse the mistakes):
Why do I scrape? I actually had to think a little bit about how to describe it in words. To do this, I first have to travel back in time, as this “why” has changed over the years. Let's start in 2007.
In a German Photoshop forum I came across graphics that were designed in a scrapbooking style. Until then I had made stationaries or other graphics with Photoshop.
The design of digital scrappbooking fascinated me and I immediately knew that I would like to be able to do that too. I looked for a German scrapbooking forum and found several. Somekits were bought quickly and I could start. Now the first layouts were created and I was very proud of each one. So I was able to immortalize the many photos of my children in such a beautiful way. When I look at my early works today, I have to smile a lot. How much my own style has changed over the years ...!
At some point in the last 13 years there was also the artistic aspect. Now it was no longer just about packing the children's photos nicely. No. There were also layouts where I could let off steam artistically without any photos.
And so it is still today. I like to scrap in very different styles and to challenge my creativity!
That's why I love the MOC Challenges so much because here I am also forced to leave my creative comfort zone and that inspires me again and again. The layouts that come up are often the ones I like the most.
