Journaling reads: Our first day in NYC was a busy one. We left the Delaware hotel around 9am and headed to the city, we arrived around 10:30 and checked in at the hotel at 11. Hamilton was right across the street - too bad we couldn't afford tickets! Then we headed out into Times Square to soak up the atmosphere and started looking for a lunch spot. We ate at the Playwright Tavern on 8th around 2 - it was very good. Then we walked around some more, went in the Disney Store and stopped back in the hotel to get settled. Then we headed to the Village to see Wes' radio play, Ghosts of Christmas Past. at 8pm. He did all the sound design and operation. It was awesome and so great to see him afterwards and catch up. We hopped back on the subway and had a late night dinner at Matthew's favorite, Bubba Gumps around 11pm.
