I chose to write about how I felt when my son announced he was moving to Chicago before the end of the year 2015. I am very close to my son and I miss him a lot...especially his hugs. This photo was taken at my parent's house for Christmas 2015.

@jenn mccabe Thank you so much. Yes it was a total surprise when he told me in September and then when he finally landed his job it was beginning of November and literally they moved the day after Thanksgiving...but luckily he was able to come home for Christmas...I miss him a lot.
Aw, your journaling pulls at the heartstrings! I can tell you are so proud of him and your love radiates through your words, as does the saddness of letting them grow and go. This is so touching, and you did a wonderful job creating this page. I hope you can still have lots of phone calls with him and maybe some skyping.
