I love the idea of the red shoes expressing hope and moving forward! It was a movie about ten years ago about a woman who needed a mastectomy and she was wearing a red lipstick for hope and confidence, believing that only confident women wear a red lipstick. Since I saw that movie, red inspires me hope, strenght and the power to move forward.
