Twenty-Twenty Three holds so much ... so much change, challenges,, opportunities, adventures ... and probably so much more. This year we face so much NEW. For the first time we will truly be “Empty-Nesters” and not just living without any kids in the house but moving halfway around the world from our kids. We will be living in a new country, experiencing a new culture, learning (or re-learning) a new language. We will be starting new jobs, working with a new team, living in a new home (more like apartment), attending a new church. In the midst of all that newness, though, there will be moments and aspects of familiar to help us feel a sense of home. We will be living in the same city with family, reconnecting with friends from years gone by, and settling back into life overseas. While there have been moments of overwhelming anxiety, a steady peace continues to wash over us and we know that we are taking the right steps … walking the path that has been laid out for us. So, bring it on, Twenty-Twenty Three! We are ready and willing and excited to learn all the lessons you have for us!
