Description
Each new year brings hellos and goodbyes. 2021 saw the marriage of my son, the birth of a grand-nephew, the hopes of recovery. It also saw the agony of canceled plans, the frustration of continued restriction, the death of friends. As we turn the corner on a new year, we will know joys and sadness, hope and disappointment, birth and death. Yet with each new day, with each new change, something good will emerge. That is the hope of being human.

Lovely, heartfelt journaling and your blend is just wonderful. The shadowing makes that little note looks so real.

This is so beautiful. I love the mask on the photo, stunning! And the journal card cluster is perfect, especially with the warped shadow - wow!

@Iowan, @melidy, @Marif - thank you so much!! I knew I wanted to do a blended photo, but the journal card was a last minute inspiration! I've been collecting things like that for my bullet journal.
