Translation:
To get to know yourself, you have to look inward. I'm trying to do this by meditating. In no way, I'm good at it, my ADHD-brain tend to whirl away with thoughts. But since November 2019, I have been using the app Calm. I haven't meditated every single days since then, but right now I have streak of 256 days. It's daily meditations for about 10 minutes, and the guide Tamara shares her experiences. Thanks to here I have learned that it's completely normal that the brain wants to think and wander away. That does not mean that you have failed and made something wrong. It just means that you, again and again, shall return to your breath and start over. It's all about observing what is happening in just this moment of time.
I wouldn't be able to call myself a Buddhist, but there's something about Buddhism that appeals to me. I find that The Four Noble Truths describes the world in a way that I can relate to, and if everyone lived according to The Noble Eightfold Path, the world would be a much better place.
