Journaling - 180 words:
I started out in the online world in the 90’s as hlblyj,
my take on hillbilly Jan. Being from WV it kind of fit. After
a few years, I got kind of tired of it. But I am not very
creative when it comes to usernames or creative, witty titles, so
I decided to ask a few of my online friends what words they
would use to describe me. One of them suggested Intense,
because I tend to be really intense and passionate about the
things I love in my life. Another suggested Magic, because
I seem to cast a spell on people. I’m not sure how true that
is haha, but I liked it. I ended up putting the two together
and the rest is history. I am IntenseMagic pretty much every-
where online and have been for 15+ years. I think there is
only a time or two that I tried to use it and it wasn’t available
or already assigned to me. I guess it’s been with me long
enough now that it’s just who I am.
