When I got married in December of 2004, I acquired the amazing last name of Glaze. When asked his last name, my husband always said “Glaze, like a doughnut” and I quickly picked up saying that, too. Since it’s such a fun last name, I also began using it in some capacity whenever I would create a new account online. As newlyweds, my husband and I ran a small online business. Collectively, we were known as “donuts that are glazed”. Several years ago, I started selling digital teaching resources to fellow educators. My shop is named Extra Sprinkle. Though my shop name doesn’t include “Glaze” it does pay homage to one of the best parts of a doughnut- the sprinkles! After giving birth to our daughter, I began to stick with GlazeFamily3 for all of my personal accounts. It signifies our last name and that there are three of us.
