Driving from our apartment in Vista California to my Parents house in Rancho Penasquitos took us almost 40 minutes. We had been dating for almost 10 months and I really wasn’t expecting us to get married anytime soon. However, about half way down I-15 you turn to me and asked “hey, you wanna get married?” I looked at you like you had 2 heads for a couple of minutes and then finally said “Sure, why not.”
When we got to my parents’ house I could hardly wait to tell my mom what had happened on the drive down. When you asked me how long it would take me to plan a wedding I told him about 3 weeks. He came back with how bout we get married on Monday. This was a Saturday.
I love our love story. We spent the rest of the weekend getting everything we needed to get married on Monday. And at 5pm on Monday we said our vows at the Vista Wedding Chapel. Only my Mom, Dad and sister were there to see us get married but I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world.
19 Years later we are still going strong.
