I was driving in my car and the song “Hot Blooded” from Foreigner came on. This song came out in 1978 while I was in college and suddenly I was transported back in time to when I was about 20 years old!
“I’m hot-blooded...check it and see...I’ve got a fever of 103...come on baby…”
It was like I was driving around Stillwater, Oklahoma with my windows down and singing right along with them.
I do not have the gift of singing, I can’t play any musical instrument, and I don’t even read music. But it is amazing how music can just take me back 40 years!
