I need to be alone or reading a good cozy mystery to connect with myself. Prayer also helps me connect with myself because I (try) to turn over my worries to my higher power. A good talk with my BFF helps me too.
Many people think that I am an extrovert because I am very friendly. This is not the truth. I am definitely an introvert. Being around people drains me. Being alone fills me up! Because I take the time to be alone, I am able to be with people. I love just sitting and watching television with my husband. I love getting lost in TikTok (though I hate to admit that one). I love reading cozy mysteries. Ever since the pandemic, I can’t read anything too heavy.
I like myself!
