Ths is the face of one of the dolls my mother has made me over the years - I am pretty sure she was inspired by a Junker Jane Doll. I've been playing with my new phone and one of the apps on it (Hipstamatic) ;)

Oh, this is fabulous! I love the way you used the thread element to match so the hair seems to come out of the photo and your brushwork is perfect. You've inspired me to go back and try that technique again with more of a shadow on my photo. :)
